A handy summary of the above scary warnings edit

Jees, the above looks just a little bit worrying now, doesn't it? Well, don't panic. We're only worried about one thing: not breaking the law. We kinda take that pretty seriously.

The various people above are worried that you didn't actually create logos you uploaded (which you said you did). If you don't have the permission of the copyright holders (probably the company in this case), you can't license them for use here. Instead, tag them as non-free files (I've done this for you) and use them under the US doctrine of fair use (the Australian equivalent is fair dealing, but we go by US rules here). The other alternative is a "donation" process.

The secondary concern is that you work for (or are otherwise affiliated with) some of these companies, about whom you are writing. This is perfectly okay, as long as only one person is behind this account and you try as hard as possible to write in a neutral, factual manner. For more information, see our conflict of interest. It would also be best to note on your userpage that you do (not).

Anyhow, as I said, don't worry too much, and happy editing! - Jarry1250 [ In the UK? Sign the petition! ] 15:06, 6 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Appendum: one of the two logos was actually ineligible for copyright, so I have adjusted its description accordingly. - Jarry1250 [ In the UK? Sign the petition! ] 15:19, 6 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please read add reliable and verifiable sources edit

Please take a look at and take the time to read the guidelines and policies for sources WP:RS and WP:V but also take a look at WP:EL as it also points out what you shouldn't use such as Facebook, Forums ect. Bidgee (talk) 07:58, 9 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your recent addition to Stockland Townsville has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Also do not add unsourced content without any reliable sources. Bidgee (talk) 08:01, 9 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Castletown Shoppingworld edit

Hi, unfortunately I've reverted additions to Castletown Shoppingworld as they were in in violation of copyright. Although a word or two were changed from the copyright holder's work the material was substantially the same. Please see the article's talk page for more info. Orphaned non-free image (File:CastletownshoppingLogo.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:CastletownshoppingLogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ZooFari 04:42, 22 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Flinders Plaza Shopping Centre edit

The article Flinders Plaza Shopping Centre has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

doesn't exist; will not exist- a developer's pipe-dream, so time for the fantasy to go.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
