edit

Hello, I'm Felida97. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Peter Trowbridge, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 17:47, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Did you just delete everything I spend three hours researching and writing? I was just about to make a copy of it all and it disappeared. I did write a note asking for advice on citations. Topiaria (talk) 17:57, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello Topiaria -- All the information you added is present in the article's history, and can easily be retrieved if published sources are available. If the material is not published then one possible route would be for some Cornell-associated forum to publish some kind of history or tribute, contributed by named experts in the field, which might then be citeable here.
If you have found sources, and even if you have not, I would urge you to participate in the ongoing discussion about whether this article should be deleted or retained: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peter Trowbridge. Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 04:15, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
