Venom and your blog and COI edit
The addition of your blog of pictures of the Venom is problematic because it looks like Link spam/blog spam. You have added similar links to other articles in the past and it's not clear that it is not an intent to promote your blog ranking. While the pictures may be a useful contribution that it is your blog brings up the conflict of interest. It is recommended not to add links to your own websites etc to an article.
The best way of sharing your pictures is to add to them Commons but I understand that in that case, you would lose all control of your own work. In the absence I would suggest bringing the subject of the link to the talk page first and proposing it there. Other editors will (hopefully) give an opinion and assuming it gets support either one of them will add the link or you can add the link yourself noting in the edit summary that there is general editor support.
