Lostpedia controversy edit

  • Thanks for your comment on my fandom edit (which then got reverted out!). I've restored it without the "offensive" links to important & relevant material... --Jajasoon 23:44, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Episode 306 edit

Why do you think Crunch keeps changing it back to the incorrect information? Can you please help me in convincing him/figuring out why he does what he does if it's proven to be incorrect by Tim Gunn himself?--Banpei 08:20, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Red links edit

Hi. Thanks for your message. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I thought I read somewhere that red links are undesirable until articles have been created, or possibly just specific types of link. Wikipedia:Only make links that are relevant to the context states (among things that should not be linked), "Subsidiary topics that result in red links (links that go nowhere) to articles that will never be created..." Obviously, I have no way of knowing that someone will definitely create an article on Bryan Burk, but given the popularity of show, I would guess it's inevitable at some point. Feel free to revert. :-) Chris 42 17:43, 28 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mayor Joe Louis edit

Mayor Ed Kelly made Joe Louis mayor of Chicago for ten minutes, which would technically make Joe Louis the first African-American mayor, not Harold Washington. 75.2.247.21 17:09, 29 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

My source is the book "Big City Boss in Depression and War: Mayor Edward J. Kelly of Chicago" by Roger Biles. In the book is a picture of Mayor Kelly with Joe Louis, explaining how he was made mayor for ten minutes. 75.2.247.21 20:05, 29 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: Talk:Derek_Smart edit

Edited, I didn't appreciate a fanboi (or more likely derek smart himself - as that is very close to the username he uses all over) telling me I don't know what I'm talking about. Especially when they clearly don't know what they're talking about and i've posted references - so I proceeded to drop the hammer on him. I've posted the relevant quotes from the exchange between Derek Smart and myself on my user page (see "Derek Meek vs Derek Smart") as well. His "piece of crap mod" stuff is particularily infuriating as I know he has never played it. Lordkazan 18:54, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
