Some questions

Thank you for showing interest in Wikipedia. It's not often that I see people commenting on articles related to them and their work. I have some questions, some that aren't strictly related to the show itself. Most are just odd little questions about random facts:

• On the Friends of the KMP website, when is the Starsky information going to be put up, if ever? Season three has been airing for a while, and Whiskers information had been shown before then, but is Starsky's going to be withheld for a while longer?

• We want to make sure the information is true. The dominance is still not decided. Even though the show has said Kinkajou and Carlos. We will get to you has soon as possible.

• Also on the website, is there any chance old name lists and life histories will be uploaded? I understand the lists would be huge, but I'm curious to see what life histories of lost groups and current groups in turmoil would look like, as well as see a full name list so I won't wonder who the now-deceased meerkats in the histories are.

• We will try to download the info and try to put it on the website.

• Is there any particular reason why Kinkaju's name is spelled Kinkajou on the show? Or are the spellings on the site just wrong?

• The spelling on the website is right.

• Was Tosca's radio collar removed after the Splinter group rejoined the Whiskers? If not, how did she end up 'lost'? I'm convinced she's dead, but if she had a collar, how did her body not get found?

• Her collar was removed, and she disappered. Most likely she is out of the research area, like her brother

• Has there been anymore information about the male outside the reserve that resembled Shakespeare? At this point I'm considering him dead as well, but I'm still wondering about that.

• We've only seen him a couple of times. We are not allowed to examine the meerkat. We are pretty sure that he was the meerkat and dominant male of a wild group. He may have migrated into the Abba group.

• When were Kinkajou and De la Soul evicted? I'm assuming it's around the same time Mozart was, but it's somewhat odd that it was never mentioned on the show (unless it was in the time period between seasons two and three).

• They roved off with their half-sister to form the new group.

• How many litters has Mozart had in total? And how many of them actually survived long enough to get names? I feel sorry for her and everything, but a 75% failure rate can't be entirely accurate.

• I'm not really sure but will try to get to you

• I'm guessing family bonds aren't always the strongest things in the world; the Mozart-Kinkajou conflict is more than enough proof. But do some meerkats ever recognize their own siblings or parents? Like, say, did Flower ever notice Risca, assuming their groups ever crossed paths, or Zaphod and Youssarian blink twice when encountering Hannibal/Jim Bob (they were in Commandos/Vivian the same time he was, right?)?

• Yes, they do recognize their siblings. They just know that they have their own group, and can risk their life just to see them.

• How do you think of some of the meerkat names? Danger Wank? Annieannieannie? Miss Lilly the Pink (and was she ever mentioned on the show, and as who?)? They're odd names, but kind of cool in their own weird ways. Also, I like how you named one Homestar Runner.

• We really don't name the meerkat as a team. The first researcher to see the babies get's to name them. When a new group is formed we decide as a team

Thank you again for taking time out to answer some questions. You can be vague on some of them if you don't want to spoil things (personally, I love spoilers, but others don't exactly like them as much). I checked your IP address with a IP address locator and it says you live in Texas. Now, I don't know about you, but last I heard, meerkats didn't live in the wild there. Cruise meerkat 21:56, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

I've chosen to believe you for now despite my IP proof. It said I lived in Texas, also, but in reality, I don't. Now:

1. Who is the dominant male of the Aztecs?

• Nobody. Males have roved into the area, but none have stayed long enough

2. How were the Aztecs formed? A split-off of the Whiskers? Rocket Dog evicted some of the girls?

• They are a spit-off of the Whiskers, but when Rocket Dog evicts females some go into that group.

3. Mozart's heritage. We know she's Flower's daughter, but is Youssy her father?

• Her father is youssy.

4. This is probably just a rumor floating around, but I've heard that the group with "Shakespeare" as their dominant male(the wild group) has stayed on the reserve and it has been given the name Acadiana, and the dominant male might be Shakespeare, but they aren't habituated yet. Probably a rumor, but could you confirm? Cruise meerkat 22:59, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

• Yes i can. He is the dominant male of the group, but no name has been given yet. We are waiting to see if the group will survive. Some males from the Whiskers migrated into the group like Yousarrian, Spud, and many others. Frank is also in the group.

1. How many members do the Starsky have?

• Right now there are 10.

3. Who's the father of De la Soul and Flava Flav?

• Tosca

4. Daisy - Is she still around? Was Daisy a stage name for Rocket Dog? I don't see any other option as Daisy was older than Kinkz.

• Daisy died during childbirth

5. Big Will and Colombus. Did they die? Rove away?

• Currently they are in Abba and somtimes of the reserve

6. Flower's mother. Hmm...Maybe Vialli? I found it out a few days ago but forgot(-dies-)

• It was the founder of the Whiskers, Whisker.
