Welcome!

Hello Tjkphilosofe, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Adding content to Wikipedia

edit

Hi and welcome aboard. I made a change to your edit of the Star Trek article earlier today. You shouldn't put personal comments into the main article itself. These comments should be placed on the Discussion page for the article. I moved your comments regarding Enterprise to the appropriate location. Cheers. 23skidoo 14:46, 3 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Commentary on EFC

edit

I tagged the article you created with a speedy delete. I created a subpage for you at User:Tjkphilosofe/Earth Final Conflict and pasted the information there. Please review the No Original Research policy.  RasputinAXP  T C 14:49, 26 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

I've also created another subpage for you at User:Tjkphilosofe/Charmed for your other commentary related to it.  RasputinAXP  T C 14:52, 26 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Please don't re-create these articles again. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and documents information posted elsewhere. Commentaries are considered original research and are not encyclopedic in nature. --GraemeL (talk) 12:30, 27 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

When you created a new page

edit

I saw the comment you left for me on my user page. In the future, please use my Talk page. You can get there by clicking on the "T" after my name in my signature. If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks!  RasputinAXP  T C 12:21, 27 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

You didn't go to my talk page, you left your comment on my User page, which I then moved to my Talk page. Again, please use my Talk page to discuss things like this. In regards to your content not being searchable, you should realize that (again) WP:NOR states that original research is unencyclopedic and it doesn't belong on Wikipedia. Google can point you at discussion sites, or you can create your own web page that Google will index in time and other people will be able to find your commentary. In addition to the WP:NOR policy I linked you to above, there is also WP:NOT, which I've reference directly to Wikipedia is not a free host or webspace provider. Again, if you have any questions, drop me a note at my Talk page.  RasputinAXP  T C 12:55, 27 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
Also, you need to realize that between the time you left me a message and the time I responded, I was asleep; I live in New Jersey. I forgot to mention that.  RasputinAXP  T C 13:00, 27 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
