I just moved your addition of Thomas J. Kennedy from the prolific inventors page to my watch list. I will add the inventor back to the article when the inventor meets the threshold of 200. You can see the Talk page of that article for a full explanation, but the summary is that the query inadvertently pulled in one patent belonging to a different inventor. The USPTO search engine is definitely not ideal, and I was impressed that you figured out a way to hone in on the right patents for a relatively common name... there was just one included by accident. If you are the inventor himself as your user ID suggests, on a personal note I enjoyed reading some of yours and finding out you have co-invented with Michael Sullivan, who is way up at 21st on the list. I'm on the list too (Keith R. Walker).

After reviewing my comment, feel free to delete it. Keithrwalker (talk) 21:14, 11 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Mr. Walker, thank you for your vigilance on the Wikipedia page for prolific inventors. My query was flawed and did pick up one patent that was not mine. I was just issued US Patent 9,272,234 as a co-inventor for "SEPARATION OF MULTI-COMPONENT FLUID THROUGH ULTRASONIC ACOUSTOPHORESIS". Based on the query that you posted,: http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsearch-adv.htm&r=0&p=1&f=S&l=50&d=PTXT&Query=apt%2F1+and+in%2F%28kennedy-thomas$+or+kennedy-III-thomas$+or+kennedy-II-thomas$%29+and+ic%2F%28wilbraham+or+chicopee%29, I believe that this puts me at 200 US utility patents. I am not as adept as you at editing the Wikipedia pages so, I can add my name back or I will leave it to you to add back my entry. Also, I read several of your patents that are assigned to IBM. Impressive. And, yes, Mike Sullivan and I work together at Spalding Sports Worldwide. We were taught the art of patents by Robert Molitor, the inventor of the two piece golf ball as well as several other inventions.Tjkennedy3 (talk) 15:18, 1 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Mr. Walker, when you removed Bioprocessing, you also lowered the number of granted patents to 200. My number, using the query from the Wikipedia page, is 201. Also, I have approximately 30 patents pending in Bioprocessing. Perhaps you will add this back as more patents are granted. Thank you for maintaining this page.
