I have now made The Humboldt Price into a Wikipedia:Redirect, which is just fine. After you have been here for a little while you will get a button at the top of your screen which will say "move" (like the "discussion" and "edit this page" buttons) and you should use that to move pages, but what you did is fine because you were the only author of the article.
