Request reason:
My username does not represent a group or organization - it is how I choose to represent myself on the Internet - it is my first name and is also my primary e-mail address (tido@tido.com). tido.com has only represented me as an individual since I registered it over 17 years ago (on April 24, 1997 almost 4 years before wikipedia.org ;) ) - and the only content on the site is my E-Mail address and information about me. Also if you check my edits they are certainly not promotional - I just want to give back to the community which has given me so much over the years, and any attribution to be given to my standard username style. That's all reasonable, but we're pretty clear about this: we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a ... website. It's the impression that matters. "How come Tido dot com can use their domain name as username and Generalcommercial dot com can't? Not fair!"
