edit

Hello, I'm Skynxnex. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Vítor Pereira (footballer, born 1968), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Skynxnex (talk) 17:14, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

There are certain subjects that are not always reported and the sources published. In this specific case, in all news programs and in journalist circles here in Brazil, this gentleman was taxed and has this nickname, so I understand that the change should be maintained. @Tiago Pastore Hi! That is a strong enough claim about a living person that you need to provide a source and probably not write it in WP:WIKIVOICE but instead just credit it to WP:RELIABLESOURCES that describe him using those words/terms. Feel free to ask if a particular source is likely sufficant here or on the talk page.
In general, if There are certain subjects that are not always reported and the sources published. then we can't include it on Wikipedia. Claims about living people are a higher standard, particularly negative claims, need sources. They do not have to be freely accessible but it must be possible for someone else to verify it (even if they need to pay for access or physically travel).
