Sue Thomas edit

Can you explain your edits to Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye? You added information that doesn't seem to be true. Please read WP:RS and WP:HOAX. ~EdGl (talk) 22:04, 3 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I am personal assistant and office manager for the 'real' Sue Thomas. We just recieved word from the Johnsons, (Sue Thomas:FBEye's producers, that the contract has been signed with Animal Planet. I added part of the Associated Press media release that they have submitted. Thumbsprint (talk) 22:12, 3 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

UGH!! you moved it! Can you put it back? It took me hours to figure out how to put that information box on there! If you need to verify anything I can put you in direct contact with the producers of the series, Dave and Gary Johnson. Thanks so much! Thumbsprint (talk) 22:28, 3 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

In a nutshell, Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Reliable sources say that Wikipedia articles should use reliable, third-party, published sources. Is the press release out yet? Is it in the news yet? When that happens, the information can be added to the article, citing the source. As of now there seems to be only primary sources, no secondary sources. Hopefully Dave and Gary Johnson will get some media attention because of this. As a fan of the show I'm excited if this is true (and I believe you). Sorry for undoing your hard work; please be patient as the story unfolds. The information shouldn't have been in an infobox anyway. Thank you for your understanding, and again, I'm on your side and I'm here to help or answer questions if you need it. You can just reply here since I'm watching this page. ~EdGl (talk) 22:51, 3 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Okie Dokie...let me get on top of it and get back to you. Will you help talk me through how to add it to this site? Thanks Thumbsprint (talk) 00:31, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Since the news has to do with the current status of the show, it should be put in the lead section, I would say at the end of the first paragraph. Just put one or two sentences about it, and cite it (I see looking at your contributions that you've used "<ref></ref>" tags before... that's what you use). If for some reason there's a lot more detail to this story, another section can be added somewhere below (in which case use "== <insert title of section here> =="). If you don't get it exactly right don't worry I'll fix it. Be bold! ~EdGl (talk) 01:09, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

Please post your sources here so I can figure out how they can be used in the article. ~EdGl (talk) 19:37, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Okay, what I have so far is this... http://www.ohiomm.com/blogs/heldenfiles/2009/03/20/more-sue-thomas/

it links from the main Entertainment page of their website: http://www.ohio.com/entertainment - scroll down to see the Rich Heldenfels graphic & topics

It was also in their physical newspaper.

There are several websites now promoting the show... Dogs for the deaf where Levi came from has a nice news release. http://www.dogsforthedeaf.org/news.php?a=detail&id=15

Also it is now on the schedule for Animal Planet for April 6th http://animal.discovery.com/tv-schedules/daily.html?date=20090406.096

As well as various fan club websites now that the buzz it out.

You can find info also on www.suethomasfbeye.com as well as www.deanebray.com (does that count?)

Okay, that's it for now. I'll let you know if anything else come up.Thumbsprint (talk) 23:46, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I added the information to the article, in the first paragraph. I'll spend more time on the article in the coming days and weeks (the whole article could use some fixing up). I'm so excited that the show will be back on the air! ~EdGl 01:13, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Awesome!! Thanks so much...we have noticed that the majority of visitors to Sue's website are directed through wiki...so want to work with you in whatever way we can to spread the news.Thumbsprint (talk) 02:09, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Animal Planet edit

How come they stopped airing Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye after only two weeks? :( Are they gonna show it again? ~EdGl 03:34, 28 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
