Promotion of Three Twins Entertainment edit

Hi Threetwinsent, Please remember that this is an encyclopedia, not a promotional platform. The tone and content of the Three Twins Entertainment article was unencyclopedic. The clean up I did was a start, and if you can provide independent reliable sources to verify some of that information - that would be great, but reverting to an unencyclopedic version is not helpful. Please take a look at our What Wikipedia is not, verifiablity, and editing with a conflict of interest policies and guidelines to get more of an idea of what is expected of an article and editors. If you have any questions please feel free to leave a note here or at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. -- SiobhanHansa 15:41, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I understand the concerns that you may have and am willing and able to list verifiable sources for all information in the Three Twins Entertainment page.

It is meant as an encyclopedic reference- not a promotional tool in anyway shape and form.

At this time I am on vacation and am returning on 10-20-07; Three Twins Entertainment and NTD Records are hosting the 7th Heaven Band on its annual cruise.

The Three Twins Entertainment wilipedia page has no malicious intent. I am willing to work alongside wikipedia in a posetive constructive informative and accurate revision of my wikipedia page upon my return on 10-20-07.

Thank you. I await your assistance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Threetwinsent (talkcontribs)

Hi The article has been nominated for deletion (see the message just below). Deletion discussions usually last for 5 days, so you'll need to make improvements as soon as possible. If you can provide reliable sources that back up the assertions in the article, please list them on the article or its talk page. Check out the reliable sources guideline for the sort of thing that constitutes a reliable source here. In particular we are concerned about notability, so published coverage of Three Twins Entertainment by well known/well respected entities is the best place to start. Thanks. -- SiobhanHansa 12:19, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hi again. I just read your comment on the articles for deletion debate. I've mentioned above the steps you can take to help us show notability for Three Twins Entertainment. You mention that you have been written about in several papers so a good place to start would be to list out the citation details for those interviews - it doesn't need to be online, but you do need the publications name, publication date, author (if any), title of article, and page number (if online URL and date retrieved instead of page number). If you don't understand what I mean by any of it, please let me know and I'll try and provide examples.
Please also note that I have removed part of your comment on the AfD. I understand that what you describe has been a very difficult situation, but it is not something we can have repeated on this website without it having been established elsewhere first. Even talk page comments about other people must not involve those sorts of accusations without substantial back up that can be provided in this sort of arena (note we only work with published information so this means reliable published articles about it, not your lawyers contact details) - see our biographies of living people policy for more details on this. If you have any questions please feel free to leave a message here or at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks -- SiobhanHansa 12:56, 22 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair treatment edit

The Wikipedia community has the same right to determine what it considers to be appropriate content for the encyclopedia as Three Twins does to decide what it considers to be appropriate content for its website. Three Twins was treated in accordance with our policies and guidelines - as were pointed out to you above. I let you know what was needed for the organization to be considered suitable for an article and you failed to make any effort to meet those requirements. If those requirements can be met, an article can be recreated. The deletion discussion was about what we know now, if the organization can be shown to be notable it will likely be accepted as an encyclopedia article.

Your comparison to Sony etc. is fallacious. Those articles are not marketing blurbs, and the companies have had a significant impact on a large number of people's lives. Editors monitor those articles to try to ensure conflict of interest editing does not bias the article. While we may not always succeed as well as we'd like, for the most part we do a reasonable job. There is no comparison between those articles and the text you attempted to have included under the Three Twins article. -- SiobhanHansa 15:35, 26 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
