Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Please don't copy material from other websites directly into wikipedia. That breaks our license and the copyright of the person/organisation that owns the test you copied. You are welcome to expand the article in your own words using the page as a reference but we don't need so much on this. If you just stick to facts and figures that would be ample as it otherwise overwhelms the article. Thanks. Spartaz Humbug! 13:39, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Persian Gulf, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. bobrayner (talk) 20:11, 24 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
