Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:21, 19 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Thank you for the edits you made at Paddy Power and its associated talk page. As you have noted yourself, you have a conflict of interest in editing this area. It would be better to wait for others to take up your suggestions than to make these edits yourself. I have therefore undone your edits for now. One thing that would really help is to provide reliable third-party sources for the claims you wish to include. All pages need to be verifiable. I hope this helps. --John (talk) 09:35, 20 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi John, cheers for the note. I understand your issues around conflict of interest and I half expected the changes to be reverted. Unfortunately we're in an awkward situation. The article is factually incorrect in a huge number of areas and also out of date in terms of (for example) shop numbers and revenues. But obviously I am the only person who cares enough to want to improve it, but I can't! Any idea what the best way to go about sorting this out is? For the time being, I will go away and get our team to start producing some referenced facts and posting them here, and hopefully someone will pick them up and edit the article accordingly. cheers Paddy
