Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Russel Howard 2007 Wimbledon.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 13:54, 16 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, basically, because you took the photograph yourself, you need to tell us under what licence you're granting Wikipedia the use of the image. For example, if you want to donate the image to the public domain without retaining any copyright yourself, you might use a licence like {{PD-self}}. If you wish to release it freely but want your name/username to be attributed as the author, you could use a licence like {{cc-by-sa-2.5|delete this text and insert the attribution details you want here}}. If you want to licence it under the GNU Free Documentation License you could use {{GFDL-self}}.
Click here and copy and paste the licence you wish to grant; the warning template above has links to pages with further information. However, without you telling us what licence you're granting, the image will have to be deleted. Cheers, DWaterson 21:14, 16 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
