A few tips about reference tags
editHi. We are apparently both working on the references in Elephant intelligence and I have a couple of tips for you. Firstly, you can't use any spaces in the ref names. So the ref you named "Lecture Notes" should be "LectureNotes" or "Lecture_Notes". Also, the advantage of naming the ref is that you don't have to repeat the citation. With the Lecture Notes ref, again, you reprinted the whole citation a few times, which defeats the purpose of naming it. If you want to use a ref multiple times, you name the first one, and then type <ref name=ExampleName/>, which will repeat the ref you've already typed. You also might find Wikipedia: Citation templates helpful - these are templates you can use for the ref function. You don't have to fill all the fields - just delete the ones you have no use for. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Natalie 01:16, 1 November 2007 (UTC) Ohh Ok...yea...it came up all read when I went to save it. - Yeah, those red letters are pretty noticeable. But you seem to be figuring things out pretty fast. You can always practice on your userpage, or in the sandbox. I'll stop editing the elephant article so we stop having edit conflicts and let you do your thing. Natalie 01:21, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
