Welcome!

Hello, The do dar man, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome!

El Diablo

edit

You are currently making a series of edits on a disambiguation page, El Diablo, you should make a new page if you intend to create an article. The edits you are making to the disambiguation are likely to be deleted without warning, especially as a cursory Google search doesn't return much evidence of the black cat. Thanks for your note. At the moment, no, I'm not going to recreate your page, and neither are you unless you can prove to me (and the rest of Wikipedia's administration) that this topic actually exists and isn't just a product of your imagination. Since a brief Google search reveals nothing relevant in the first 50 references, I very much doubt you can. Prove it to me first -- by giving me citations from reputable news sources like newspapers and magazines that actually mention this topic -- and I'll help you recreate the page. I've seen your note. (Please put notes on talk pages at the bottom of the page, not the top, and sign them with four tildes.) When you suggest that "informing people about lesser known interests" is the function of Wikipedia, I think you've mistaken what the function of an encyclopedia is. I urge you to read through the material that is found at the links at the top of this page, as part of the welcome message -- it will give you information about what Wikipedia actually is and how to contribute to it properly. In the meantime, you also need to read through the policy at this link and this one to understand just what kinds of evidence is required to ensure that Wikipedia articles are accurate. I suspect from your note that you're going to come to me and say something like "The Tiddley Pond Gazette from March the 15th says this cat exists," and that's absolutely not going to be sufficient. If you have any further questions, you can leave a note on my talk page. Accounting4Taste:talk 23:32, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 23:51, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Since my assistance is insulting, I won't offer any more of it. Please be sure not to break any Wikipedia policies in the future, because you're fairly close to being blocked from future editing. Accounting4Taste:talk 23:52, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Ropsley Panther

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Ropsley Panther. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 01:29, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please assume good faith when dealing with other editors. See Wikipedia:Assume good faith for the guidelines on this. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 01:29, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Holycrap.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Ricky81682 (talk) 09:09, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Homosexual orientation has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. --Avant-garde a clue-hexaChord2 21:03, 25 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

They are a bunch of butt pirates sailing the anal seas.

Note

edit

Your recent "Butt Pirates" page has been deleted. You have a history of problematic editing looking at your talk. Try and remember this is an encyclopedia not your playground. I appreciate you've made a number of positive edits as well, so I'd ask you to try to help us in our aim and not hinder. Pedro :  Chat  23:41, 25 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
