The Verve edit

Hi, I just wanted to raise a quick point about the removal of Greater Manchester from the article. It is my understanding that county is included when providing a geographical description of a town or city. If I am mistaken about this then apologies and we can revert back to just mentioning Wigan. Happy editing !

Comedown Machine edit

Hey, I'm just trying to do the same and maintain it. You deleted the # of weeks column. It appears monotonous now because it's the first week of release, but it becomes rather interesting as you'll see on the page for Angles. Thanks! -- EGorodetsky (talk) 08:20, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Joy Division edit

Why did you remove all references to the group's US label, Qwest/Reprise/Warner Bros. Records? Factory was not active in that territory, and its releases were licensed to other labels. Peace. —MuzikJunky (talk) 09:13, 26 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Revived interest in Infernal Affairs edit

Invitation to participate in the poll for Infernal Affairs.

From your edits for the film Infernal Affairs there is presently a poll taking place on The Departed film Talk page regarding whether you believe a separate subsection should be included for (a) Infernal Affairs as a source for the plot of The Departed film, and/or (b) a second subsection for the recently captured crime figure Whitey Bulger as the source for the character played by Jack Nicholson in the film.

The recent capture of Bulger has revived the question from two years ago of Infernal Affairs from when it did have a separate subsection on The Departed film page which was deleted by User:RepublicanJ, now known as User:OldJ. Invite to visit The Departed Talk page, to the Bulger section at the end of the Page, to participate in the Poll currently taking place. 208.120.96.227 (talk) 11:10, 7 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Muse Edits edit

I feel the need to reason my edits on the Muse page with you as you keep undoing them.

1. Chris Wolstenholme has never played the rhythm guitar for Muse. Yet he played the Misa Kitara in the recording of 'Madness' and plays it every time the song is performed live. 2. Sampling has never been used in Muse's songs, thus it should be removed from the description. 3. Heavy metal isn't a very accurate genre to describe Muse so I removed it. 4. 'Symphonic rock'is a better genre to describe Muse than 'classical music' so I changed it. 5. Animal bones were used in the percussion during the making of Origin of Symmetry so I added it to the article. 6. I added ‘The Grand Chessboard’ and 'Rule by Secrecy' to the list of books that influence Muse’s music. They influenced the songs 'United States of Eurasia' and 'Ruled by Secrecy' respectively.

Your reasoning for undoing these edits was "Not needed since the information is sourced." Yet most of the changes I made don't have any sources. The 3rd and 4th edits listed above had been sourced from a website that didn't even list 'heavy metal' or 'classical music' as genres, hence making it incorrect in the first place.

If you want proof as to why my changes are correct then simply ask and I will provide or head over to musewiki.com which has more accurate information about the band as it is run by passionate fans who know what they're talking about. If you look into each change I have made you will find proof on that site that each change is correct.

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tarague (talkcontribs) 12:10, 12 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

The Sex Pistols were a British band - not English. Why do you keep denying this, and on what grounds? Charles G. Hart (talk) 00:26, 31 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

FAC comment? edit

Hi. Would you be interested in voicing your support (or oppose/comment) at the FAC page for the article Of Human Feelings? I've gotten supports, but an FAC delegate noted that comments should include mentions as to how the article fits FAC criteria. If you're not interested, feel free to ignore this message and happy holidays! Dan56 (talk) 03:41, 25 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
