Notability of A band called Sara(h)

A tag has been placed on A band called Sara(h), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. On notability

okay I think I know what I did wrong here we go again.

First off I feel a little ripped off, I was giving no time to defend my case before it was pulled (case means page) but if that is the way it works I will deal with it.

Second I posted the page quickly because I had to go to class, I am a college student, and didn't have time to make it nice and clean, which is my fault. If that is the problem give me time to make it nice and neat.

Third I am new here so I haven't figured out all of the bells and whistles so if that was the issue I would like some more time.

Fouth the Issue of notablity. I will go ahead and amit that in the long run my page about A band called Sara(h) isn't notable. But then what is? YOu have on this site pages upon pages of stuff that people will never use. Would you consider old movies, video games, comic books, porn websites, web comics, tv shows, and who knows what else notable? I would not, but I could be wrong. And if the issue is that of substance and since these things have been around for a while and have a culture impact then why not mine. I said before I am college student, I study and live at State Fair Community College in Sedilia, Missouri. In the story I am taking people from my life and placing them into the story, they take on different shapes but they are still there. I would say that this could be considered a culture impact, albiet a limited one. Or considered my ultimate goal. I am minoring in lit. and right now I am writing two different books, and one play. One of the books is A band called Sara(h), which I will use the blog to form the story. Once finished and released the book could have the potinal to have culture impact. So yes you could say it isn't notable but then again a argument could be made in the favor the it could be notable.

If you see any other pages that you genuinely believe to be non-notable, please feel free to note it on their talk page or bring them to articles for deletion. Also, unfortunately you are not supposed to create articles about things you are involved in... they are regarded as conflicts of interest and/or original research.. there is also the overarching policy of Neutral Point of View. Your'e probably right, it was probably because of notability that your article was deleted. I didn't actually see the article, so I was just guessing. Also, if you want to learn more about wikipedia policy, a great page to start is the 5 Pillars. Cheers, Danski14^(talk) 22:40, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm sorry that your first foray into article writing on wikipedia didn't turn out the way you wanted it to. Notability is something we have community consensus on for inclusion into Wikipedia, but because something is not notable for a Wikipedia article doesn't mean that it isn't valuable. It just means that it isn't appropriate for an article on Wikipedia. One thing you could do is look at some articles about other similar things that exist that are notable. Also, because your story isn't notable right now doesn't mean that it won't be notable in the future (after you have some secondary sources published about it etc.) and qualify for an article then.
