Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:37, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:TheChrisKeleherTeam

edit

A tag has been placed on User:TheChrisKeleherTeam requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Requested username:

Request reason:

I missed the username guidelines and used my common user name which is my work. I apologize for not being on top of the guidelines but it was my first time using Wikipedia and creating my account. Please allow this username change so I can continue to work on my pages I am trying to create. I will promise to review guidelines before proceeding with other elements of wikipedia

Decline reason:

No, obviously not. Please reread your block message. Yamla (talk) 20:34, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Requested username:

Request reason:

The only compensation I will receive is my salary as I am creating pages for a work project and it will be done during working hours. I understand why my username was flagged and blocked as it represented a business and did not follow the username guidelines. I believe my current username falls under what is allowed. I intend to make contributions related to the pages I am creating and to other pages as I see fit and feel I have the knowledge to update or add to. I hope this suffices and I can continue to edit on Wikipedia.

Decline reason:

If you are editing Wikipedia as part of your job, you must declare as a paid editor. You do not have to be specifically paid for your edits. You won't be unblocked to further edit about this person, at least in the short term. If that's your only goal here, this is the end of the road for your Wikipedia career. If you want to be an individual, general contributor and edit about topics unrelated to your conflict of interest, please tell what those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:33, 17 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
