Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Lakeland Union High School, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Jh12 (talk) 07:33, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lakeland Union High School

Please note that the edits you made are both unreferenced original research and not encyclopedic in nature. (please review Wikipedia:Not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_publisher_of_original_thought) as well as the core content policies of Wikipedia: Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:No original research, and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view.

For example, the entire section "Awesome Faculty" is not only unreferenced, it is with high probability fictional and even libelous. I ask that you not re-add the information, and consider adding content pertinent to the school including curriculum, organizations, and extracurricular activities. Thanks, --Jh12 (talk) 16:29, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think we have different opinions about what may be defamatory. Anyway, I think it is fantastic that you're trying to create something funny for students to be proud of, but Wikipedia is not the place for opinions or parodies. This site isn't even based on truth; it publishes only verifiable information that has already been published in a reliable source. If you want to create a parody page making fun of schoolteachers, please create a website outside of Wikipedia. --Jh12 (talk) 10:27, 5 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
