Hi. You changed Rita Ferro (Diplomat) to just Rita Ferro. The problem is that there is already an article on Portuguese Wiki called Rita Ferro. I am half-way through writing an article about her. Roundtheworld (talk) 10:47, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- Roundtheworld, English Wikipedia disambiguation reflects on English Wikipedia only and Portuguese Wikipedia's dab shouldn't be compared to En. Wiki's disambiguation since both editions are different. If there is already an article under the same name on Portuguese, you may add a dab on Portuguese. We may disambiguate pages on English Wikipedia when there is already an article on English Wikipedia under the same name. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 11:25, 4 April 2021 (UTC)

Regarding addition DC.
Hi, saw your AfD nom on Mohd afzal parray, Saw that you’ve written that A. DC is not notable post, mind explaining how? As far as i think and know, it is a notable post.-- Jammumylove Talk to me or CHECK MY RECENT WORK 21:45, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
Jammumylove, not only Adl. DC is non-notable, but DC is also a non notable post. It decide their fortune not notability. Wikipedia is an international encyclopaedia that determines notable per reliable entries, however only sources are not enough to determine notability, a subject should meet at least one criteria. According to WP:POLITICIAN, politicians are notable if they held international, national or state/province post. As you might be aware, DDC members, including chairperson and DC are not state/province-level post. Regards TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 04:20, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- TheBirdsShedTears, The article has proper secondary sources as per WP:RS, did you check? looks like meets BASIC also DC is a notable post, it's very obvious that a DC would obviously be having Secondary sources like article's for his work.-- Jammumylove Talk to me or CHECK MY RECENT WORK 18:58, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- Jammumylove, secondary sources and independent sources are two different standards and norms which determines notability variously. For instance, if a federal or state/provincial politician is cited with secondary sources even with trivial mention, it doesn't need to be supported by independent sources (it doesn't apply to its controversial content. Any controversial part must satisfy RS's WP:V) and it may be retained even it fails to pass general notability criteria. However, local politicians (local body) needs to be supported by independent reliable sources not with trivial mention. The subject in question is cited with reliable sources but unfortunately all news sources primarily discuss the DDC results not the subject in question. His name appears in news sources along with other candidates. An example of independent reliable source here that discusses Hanan Al Hroub independently. Also, District collector (DC) and Divisional commissioner are not a notable posts, however a chief secretary is a notable post. Regards TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 22:35, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- Look at this Shahid Iqbal Choudhary He's a DC. Hope this clears your confusion. -- Jammumylove Talk to me or CHECK MY RECENT WORK 05:30, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- Jammumylove, You are mistaken! It says, "He was the "first Muslim from Jammu region" and "first Gurjar from J&K" to qualify Indian Administrative Service as an direct recruit IAS. It means, he is notable only for being the first IAS officer from Gujjar tribe and first Muslim from Jammu. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 05:50, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- Oh alright, i guess sehrish asgar is notable as well for an article then First muslim woman to qualify https://www.ndtv.com/video/news/news/meet-j-k-s-first-muslim-woman-qualifier-for-ias-231453 -- Jammumylove Talk to me or CHECK MY RECENT WORK 06:33, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- Jammumylove, Shahid Iqbal Chowdhury has received multiple awards, however his notability is still questionable since the awards he received are non-notable. Sehrish fails notability criteria, please see WP:BIO1E for detailed information. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 06:40, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- The picture on infobox states Shahid Iqbal receiving Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration from Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi How is this a non notable award? -- Jammumylove Talk to me or CHECK MY RECENT WORK 07:29, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- Jammumylove, Award for Excellence in Public Administration doesn't have an article on English Wikipedia. Please see list of notable Indian awards. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 18:14, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- TheBirdsShedTears, Hey, Can you tell me what would be the notability guidelines for political parties? I Mean as far as i think and as discussed here Block dev polls aren't notable right? Check This Jammu_and_Kashmir_Workers_Party I Don't think that this party meets WP:GNG, my WP:BEFORE gave nothing. so wanted to consult you for this. Does this party qualify using any other criteria for BDC polls? -- Jammumylove Talk to me or CHECK MY RECENT WORK 11:12, 19 April 2021 (UTC)

WP:INDICSCRIPT
Please don't apply WP:INDICSCRIPT to other country's articles. This guideline is for predominantly India-related articles. WP:INDICSCRIPT clearly says: "This avoidance of Indic scripts only applies to articles that are predominantly India-related and is excluded from, among others, articles about Hinduism, Buddhism, or any of India's neighbouring countries." You should not apply WP:INDICSCRIPT to Afghanistan, Pakistan, or any of India's neighbouring countries. Correct me if i am wrong. This is completely wrong use of WP:INDICSCRIPT guideline. --আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 21:46, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- TheBirdsShedTears I agree with আফতাবুজ্জামান. The INDICSCRIPT rule only applies to articles falling within the scope of the WikiProject India, where it had been agreed on, and can only be applied if it does not clash with other projects ruling the given article (e.g., WP:HINDUISM). Your shouldn't be removing Urdu script from Pakistan-related articles. Can I expect you'll fix all the articles you incorrectly edited? Thanks. — kashmīrī TALK 23:30, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- আফতাবুজ্জামান and Kashmiri thank you for your attention. I've removed indic script from many articles and it's difficult for me to undo my changes. However, I will try to fix the issue as soon as possible. Please undo my changes if you find any such edits that I made. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 06:08, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- OK, i will try. You probably get lots of revet notification, just ignore those. আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 13:00, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
TheBirdsShedTears I see that you still have not restored the Urdu script you removed from a lot of articles. Can you do it asap? Thanks. — kashmīrī TALK 08:35, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- Kashmiri, as I earlier said, I don't remember the articles where I've deleted the Indian script. Therefore, if you find such articles please undo my edits. Regards TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 09:55, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
