March 2024
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you inaccurately accuse editors of removing or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia and reverting their good faith edits without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, and then rushing to threaten to block them, as you did at Abrahamic religions. Assume good faith and discuss on talk page. Being a long standing editor doesn't give you the right to bully other editors. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nycarchitecture212 (talk • contribs) 15:21, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Nycarchitecture212: Your reason for deletion sounds like you have an ax to grind against mainstream WP:SCHOLARSHIP. That is allowed at Conservapedia and OrthodoxWiki, but here is entirely not done.
- I also advise you to read Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 244#Gospel of John—not about Judaism, but shows that your over-reliance on Ancient and Medieval scholars is misguided (again, here at Wikipedia). Wikipedia sides with modern, mainstream Bible scholars.
- Someone has to tell you clearly that if you favor scholars from before the 20th century to 21st century scholars, your efforts will come sooner or later to a grinding halt, since that is not an attitude which is appreciated here at Wikipedia. Same applies to defending POVs which are considered WP:FRINGE according to WP:CHOPSY. I mean we have to respect the theologians of Orthodox Judaism, but they count by and large as not being mainstream Bible scholars. They write theology, not history, therefore we don't WP:CITE them in order to establish objective historical facts. Deciding what counts as historical fact is the privilege of mainstream historians. tgeorgescu (talk) 16:59, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
