50 Years of Holden (1999)

edit

Hi Terrybebb, and Welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for your clarification over at Talk:Holden. When I saw the username "Terrybebb" I knew I recognised it from somewhere. Then it came to me: Terry Bebbington, the author of "50 Years of Holden" (1999). I very much like this book, the detail gone into each individual Holden model is superb. Anyway, I hope you continue to edit here at Wikipedia with your vast knowledge on the subject. Feel free to contact me at me user talk page. Regards. Holden Volt - RE or EV series

edit

Hi Terry, regarding this edit, where did you find out that the Holden Volt model code is "RE"? All the sources that I have found online say "EV" is the model code, e.g. Carsales, Redbook. Regards, OSX (talkcontributions) 12:21, 4 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi OSX. The RE designation is sourced from GM parts catalogues, which these days is on-line to dealerships only. (Terrybebb (talk) 03:52, 11 February 2015 (UTC))Reply
Cheers, thanks! OSX (talkcontributions) 05:51, 11 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
FYI, Holden's new capped-price serving website still lists the Volt as "EV Volt". This might warrant further clarification from GMH. OSX (talkcontributions) 22:46, 1 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
