Welcome!

Hello, Terrorford, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Thanks also for the picture of Crawford Castle, which I will put on the article page. I have put what I know about that site into the article, I don't really know anything 'in depth' about the place. Perhaps RCAHMS would be a good starting point, or your local library if you live in Scotland. As for Wikipedia, the above links should get you started, but don't be afraid to ask stuff. Hope you can stay and contribute, ::Supergolden:: 08:19, 3 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi Terrorford. I don't think there is a problem with your image, Image:UK '05 (353) copy.jpg, which you uploaded. I have however tagged Image:Crawford castle.jpg, which was uploaded by another user, for deletion, under Wikipedia's image deletion process. This image was uploaded sometime ago, is probably copyrighted, and looks rubbish compared to yours. However, I notice that you put a {{NoRightsReserved}} tag on the talk page.

If you have some basis for this release of copyright, ie an email from the copyright holder, then you need to prove that this has been done. See Wikipedia:Confirmation of permission#When permission is confirmed. Don't worry about this image being deleted, it will still be available at the source, which is given on the image page, and moreover, it isn't even used on the article!

Your own image is fine, as you tagged it as your own work (as long as it is your own work!). ::Supergolden:: 20:49, 6 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I added your second image to the page. Take a look at the links under the welcome section above for Editing Help, including how to add photos to pages. Good luck! ::Supergolden:: 18:16, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
