March 2011

I was not maliciously changing the date on the Apple A5 image. If you read the talk page, you will see that a replacement image will not be available until around March 20, when iFixIt disassembles an iPad and takes pictures, and hopefully allows those pictures to be placed on Wikipedia. I extended the date to allow for a replacement to be found. The date is currently set to March 10. It is simply not possible to get a picture before at least he 11th, unless you steal one from the Apple, or you're an engineer for Apple that is somehow able to get the company to allow you to post an image of their processor on Wikipedia. If the A5 image is not allowed, then the A4 image shouldn't be allowed either, since they're both from Apple's promotional material. I would prefer that the deletion thing is removed, but if it must stay, at least extend the date until March 20th, or so. I also don't understand the whole "not being able to replace it today doesn't make it irreplaceable" thing, because I'm pretty sure it irreplaceable and not being able to replace something mean the same thing.

The point is, it can be replaced. WP:NFCC does not say irreplaceable for the time being. It says wether it is replaceable or not. Which it is. Not having an image of a generic chip for 2 weeks is not the end of the world. The A4 image was already deleted once, I have retagged it again.--Terrillja talk 14:54, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

I have renmoved the FfD tag you put on File:ZTBL Headquarters view.jpg, because you never made the nomination at Wikipedia:Files for deletion/2011 January 30. If you still want it deleted, feel free to renominate it, and make sure the nomination gets listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion/2024 May 24. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 11:58, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

Re: deleted article. Thanks for the help. I have actually completed the necessary copyright infringement agreement and had a reply from Verno Whitney to confirm that. Yet still, the article has been deleted. Frustrating. (Pastorponixon (talk) 10:56, 10 March 2011 (UTC))

There were two reasons why it was nominated for deletion. One was under speedy deletion criterion {{g11}}, which is for articles which are written in a non-neutral, advertising manner. For more info on that, see WP:ADVERT. The second reason why it was tagged was because it violated criterion {{g12}}, which is for articles which are blatant copyright violations. By donating the content, you resolved the latter issue, but not the former. It was not written in a neutral tone and came off as advertising, despite your good intent. So it was deleted as all articles are required to be neutrally worded and it was not. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask me on this page and I can help you out when I have time.--Terrillja talk 13:53, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
Sorry to bop in here, the article is being Refunded so we can resolve G11 problems. Phearson (talk) 15:58, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Thanks to both of you for your help here. It really is appreciated. I hope the article can be refunded in order for me to make the appropriate changes. (Pastorponixon (talk) 16:03, 10 March 2011 (UTC))

sorry, please help me

Please don't do this to me. I was only trying to help. Please help me, just do tell me where is this "move" button is. Don't talk about me, I don't like being the centre of things. It makes me feel cyber-bullied. -- thornofhate (SHOUT) 05:54, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
