Turkish

Regarding your revert of my move (which is now irrelevant as the template has been deleted), your argument is completely wrong. Something of, from or related, Turkey is "Turkish". See also List of adjectival and demonymic forms for countries and nations. Please open a dictionary next time or at least check before reverting. --Gonnym (talk) 09:50, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

Gonnym, thank you for your feedback! I wrote: "1) All inclusions go to that title. 2) That something is "Turkish" is different from belonging to "Turkey"." . Best regards. TerraCyprus (talk) 10:01, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
I ignored the first point is that does not matter. The redirects work the same. The problem with "TR" is that it is a meaningless 2 letter word, compared to "Turkish" which is much more clearly recognizable, which follows what the guideline WP:TPN says regarding the naming of templates. Anyways, as I said, irrelevant now. --Gonnym (talk) 10:07, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
Gonnym, you claim things that are not true, and make arguments in a way to imply I said something different. Please stick to facts. TerraCyprus (talk) 10:12, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
What is not true? Do redirects not work the same as non-redirects? Is "TR" more clear than "Turkish"? Does "WP:TPN" not say to use standard English? --Gonnym (talk) 10:43, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
  • "What is not true?" : e.g. "The problem with "TR" is that it is a meaningless 2 letter word" and "The redirects work the same."
  • "Do redirects not work the same as non-redirects?" : Correct.
  • "Is "TR" more clear than "Turkish"?" - Each commonly identifies another concept, so I wouldn't know how to measure what is "more clear".
  • "Does "WP:TPN" not say to use standard English?" : Correct.
