I'm a new Wikipedia user and have recently submitted an article on Alan Collins who was an Australian author. I'd very much appreciate some guidance as to how the heading should read. At present it reads Alan Collins (writer). I think searching might be much easier if it merely read Alan Collins. Do you agree? Can it be changed and how? Wiki already has an Alan Collins who is a sculptor, does this matter? Thank you very much. Tenpoundmigrant (talk) 01:26, 19 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Is the first Alan Collins article disambiguated - as in, is the title "Alan Collins (sculptor)" or just "Alan Collins"? If the latter, you may have to leave your article as it is. Otherwise, it can quite easily be changed just by using the move button. You may also want to consider whether the writer or the sculptor is more famous.
