Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a few moments to create a new account with a username that represents only you. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may ask for a review of this username block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this message. Thank you.

{{helpme}} Hi, you said that my username was bad. Is username supposed to be a person's name. (Tennis Team (talk) 16:25, 30 April 2010 (UTC))Reply

No, your username does not have to be a real name - in fact, there are several good reasons you might not wish to use your real name. I recommend choosing any appropriate nickname.
The problem is, your username "Tennis Team" sounds like it represents a number of people, or an organization. Accounts may only be used by one person (WP:NOSHARE), and organization names are not permitted WP:ORGNAME).
You have two options;
  • As you have made very few contributions, you may simply create a new account, and forget about this one.
  • Alternatively, you can explain here that you now understand the policy, and will immediately file a request to change the name if your account is unblocked, using the {{unblock}} template, explained above.

For further guidance, you may wish to talk to us live, with this or this.  Chzz  ►  16:35, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
