On September 18, 1986, Trasy Ashton was born in Angeles City, Philippines. Ashton grew up in a house where a family with significant military links prized discipline, dedication, and personal development. Her stepmother was a Master's degree-holding counselor, while her father, a retired Senior Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, spent more than 24 years in the military. These factors shaped Ashton's temperament and aspirations.
Early on, Ashton was a top student and athlete. Her high school years were full of achievements in the field and the classroom. She graduated on June 4, 2004, from Edgren High School in Misawa, Japan. Ashton participated extensively in sports and was named Prom Queen 2004 in high school.

Higher Education
Ashton studied more, concentrating on psychology and criminal justice, after finishing high school. Her increasing passion for law enforcement and public service was evident in 2007 when she graduated from the Community College of the Air Force with an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice. Ashton completed her Bachelor of Psychology degree from Excelsior College in May 2008. Military Career
Trasy Ashton had a significant life turning point on November 29, 2004, when she joined the United States Air Force. Her family's military experience and desire to serve her nation motivated her to join. Ashton spent over eight years serving in the Air Force under the Air Force Police Agency (Security Forces). Her duties as a Security Forces( police officer) covered law enforcement, base security, and deployment activities.
Trasy Ashton faced many difficulties during her deployments to Kuwait and Qatar that sharpened her tenacity and leadership. Her involvement in high-stress situations developed her tactical abilities, and handling troops and assets strengthened her leadership position in the Air Force. Ashton's athletic ability is beyond her time in high school. Her love of running persisted during her Air Force career when she participated in several marathon and cross-country contests. She was chosen for the United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE) Marathon Team in 2008, therefore representing the Air Force in marathons in Europe. Ashton ran large distances as an Air Force Cross Country Team member the next year, 2009, so she displayed her abilities.
