Stile Project Forum
editI noticed that you deleted the entry for The Forum and I'd like to know why. Other forums such as 4chan and Something Awful have entries. The entry was under revision and it is my first Wiki entry, so I know it wasn't perfect, but I don't see a problem with it. Please let me know. (Also, I'm not exactly clear on where I should put this on your talk page...I hope theis is where it belongs.) --TastyHiHatWork 09:44, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

- I hate to disagree, but I think The Forum is independently notable. A lot of the content on Stileproject these days is derived from links drudged up on The Forum, and by dropping the "Stile Project Forum" moniker and going with simply "The Forum," the webmasters attempted to create a name for the site beyond the scope of Stileproject. It's become a new project and is viewed by many users completely independently from Stileproject. Personally, I rarely check Stileproject, whereas I've found the communities within The Forum to be helpful and informative. --TastyHiHatWork 09:53, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- You are welcome to disagree. If you would like, the article can be restored and brought to Articles for deletion to gain a wider consensus. My suggestion to you would be to first expand from the Stile Project article while citing reliable sources, and then break it out from there, if necessary. Hey, Tasty! Didn't know you were littering up Wikipedia with SPF related drudgery. I already added a bit at the end of the Stileproject discussion page about TheForum. Nobody was really interested, though. I think the user CSCWEM above has a point - it's not really notable for being anything more than a large-scale messageboard where anything goes, bar bestiality and child porn. Those kind of things are ten a penny these days. We just happen to belong to one of the most fucked up ones. Not worth its own article, surely. But hey, that's just my opinion.
