edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Trita Parsi. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.   Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Trita Parsi, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you.   Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Trita Parsi, you will be blocked from editing. AngelOfSadness talk 19:58, 4 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, the recent edit you made to National Iranian American Council has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Party!   Your contributions history shows that you have been aggressively cross-posting. Although the Arbitration Committee has ruled that "The occasional light use of cross-posting to talk pages is part of Wikipedia's common practice."1, such cross-posting should adhere to specific guidelines. In the past, aggressively worded cross-posting has contributed towards an Arbitration Committee ruling of disruptive behavior that has resulted in blocks being issued. It is best not to game the system, and instead respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building, by ceasing to further crosspost, and instead allowing the process to reflect the opinions of editors that were already actively involved in the matter at hand.   Your recent edits could give editors of Wikipedia the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that this is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a genuine dispute with the Community or its members, please use dispute resolution. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 03:50, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to National Iranian American Council. ALLSTAR echo 04:08, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I can see what your objections were in the Trita Parsi article. And that material has now been removed since it didn't meet our sourcing guidelines. However, most of the material you removed at National Iranian American Council appeared to be sourced ok. Could you explain what precisely is there that you have an objection to? (And again, please don't make any legal threats). JoshuaZ (talk) 04:13, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for implication of legal threats. You will be blocked indefinitely if this happens again. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. — ERcheck (talk) 04:29, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
