Tabla edit

Please don't insert IP-address only URLs in articles. It's a tactic that spammers use and confuses those that are trying to fight it. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  14:47, 20 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dear Tabalji edit

Hello! I am a non-Indian person who loves Indian music, especially the Hindustani traditon. I would just like to let you know I have recently purchased "Learn to Play on Tabla", one of your books, and I think your teaching is fantastic! I have learned the music I have investigated thoroughly, and now I can play along with my favorite artists of this magnificent music style. Mr. Courtney, you are a true tabla ustad, and your wife has incredible talent for the sitar and tanpura. I just wanted to let you know. Keep your work coming! The lovers of this music can educate the world.BashmentBoy 22:14, 28 August 2006 (UTC)BasmentBoyReply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
