Thank you so much for your feedback. I have gone through and made several edits to satisfy many of the problem you found in my article.
You commented that the lead does not mention the articles primary sections. I have added information providing context as to what the article overviews.
You noticed that some of my reference predate 2000, however most of these are sources taken from the initial article, and are valuable baseline information for the topics presented.
As you pointed out, there were many missing sources and references throughout my article. I went back through and assigned wikilinks to as many topics as I could that seemed relevant and added more references to areas that seemed to be missing them. The section on air filtration had no references due to the fact that they had not been copied over from the initial article, but there were sources referenced for the information.
The two sentences that you commented on and said were confusing I agree were not well worded. I have since edited them to make more sense, particularly being more specific in the processes described. I further elaborated on the contents of the chemical equati0ons as you requested. You also noticed that the filtration membranes and air filtration sections were accidentally placed in the types of photocatalysis section. I have since repaired this.
I disagree that images should be added to the article, as I feel they may confuse the reader and be ancillary information that must be filtered through, particularly in the applications section.
