Thanks! Thank you so much for welcoming me here, and for being the first person to post me a message *gives a pleased smile*. I love it here, there is so much to learn, and I love the fact that I can edit pages and impart my own knowledge and/or experience for the benefit of other users/readers. Basically I enjoy coming to this site and am so glad I found it (and it's a hell of a lot better than the other sites where I used to hang out - the calibre of person here compared to in those places... well, it's incomparable because the difference is so vast) (and I'm not meaning to be derogatory to those other sites, I'm just meaning to praise Wikipedia, as it IS great for MANY reasons, not least because it's helped me so much ALREADY, e.g. when I could show people my favourite page and say "see, I told you algolagnia's NOT a paraphilia"!, etc., 'cos basically it annoys me when people don't get their facts straight, especially on subjects that are important to me, like my algolagnia).

Oh dear, I'm ranting again, sorry! Thanks again Ron (I guess your name is Ron? Sorry if it's not and I got the wrong idea - I can be rather presumptious at times, as those who know me know only too well!). --Sweet algolagnia (talk) 23:56, 15 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Enjoy editing. :) Yes, that's my name. Best wishes and happy editing, Firsfron of Ronchester 00:08, 16 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Ron, I very much enjoy it indeed, though I do intend to stop talking so much and so enthusiastically about algolagnia after reading the below suggestion from user:AmusedRepose (think I'll check out his/her page now, just out of interest, and I am grateful for their suggestion as I'm sure that I probably should tone it down! So I WILL!). Best wishes. --Sweet algolagnia (talk) 04:09, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

A suggestion, dearest edit

I would subtly suggest toning down your enthusiasm for algonasiacal delights. You're freaking the mundanes. Check your email. --AmusedRepose (talk) 19:28, 17 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ha ha! Thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely try to tone it down as of now (sorry, I AM very enthusiatic about it aren't I? Maybe too much - count me toned down as of NOW!). And I've checked my email, but have not seen anything relating to what you mean - do you know who it's from? Is it from you? I'm interested now! From the new, toned-down --Sweet algolagnia (talk) 04:03, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

By the way, may I ask you AmusedRepose, is 'algonasiacal' a real word? I'm not doubting that it is, as I'm sure it IS, it's just that I've never heard it before, and I feel like I should have done, so thanks for informing me that there is such a word, I am always grateful to learn new words, especially... CUT! I totally agree with you that I need to tone down my enthusiasm for delightful things, hence I have cut short what I was going to say - I am sure though it is obvious EXACTLY what I was about to say! Sorry, I'm just amused myself today, do please ignore me.

Also, whoever that aforementioned email is from, I really wish they would send it, as I haven't received much email in the last two days, and it has certainly not been as interesting as I'm sure that email would be. --Sweet algolagnia (talk) 14:19, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Helpme edit

You have successfully created your sandbox at User:Sweet algolagnia/sandbox. Your talk page did not disappear, what you saw was the redlink to the new talkpage of your subpage. See the link that says "<User:Sweet algolagnia" right below the title? That returns you to the main page. I deleted the duplicate sandbox page you created in your User_talk: space. The same principle works there. Your test worked successfully. Happy editing to you. Keegantalk 06:33, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much! I really appreciate your help, and I understand what you mean now about the pages. I am SO glad to still have my messages, because it's exciting for me being a new user to get messages from other users - I don't have a sad life!, it is exciting to get new messages when you first get your account isn't it? I think so anyway! So thank you again. --Sweet algolagnia (talk) 12:18, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

A Tip edit

Hi. I've noticed that you have been using html in your talk page posts. I thought I'd point out that you can make a paragraph just by hitting the return key a couple of times, and the wiki will recognize that as a paragraph change. Just trying to be helpful. --OGoncho (talk) 08:07, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Aha, thank you. That HTML is the only HTML I know actually, and now I don't even need that because you've told me how to do a new paragraph without it, so thanks. Hm, I might get quite good at all this by the time I've been here a few more days... or weeks... or probably months! I don't mind how long it takes though, because I love it here so I intend to stick around for a very long time! This place is FAR better - and MUCH more interesting - than other websites I used to go to, and I'd like to say thanks again to you and the other users who have made me feel very welcome here already - cheers. --Sweet algolagnia (talk) 12:18, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
