Terrific banksia images

edit

Hello Swawrzyczek,

Thanks for uploading terrific banksia images. I have a small request. When you upload images to Commons, please always add at least one category. For example "Banksia subulata" and "Flora of Western Australia". I'll look after the images you've already uploaded, if you'll do that from now on. That way, interested readers can easily find more information about your images, including where they were taken - "Hi Vallee Farm" or "Alexander Morrison National Park" for example. It would be even better if you could include the GPS coordinates of the camera! Gderrin (talk) 02:52, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Gderrin, I will add the categories in the future. Would I add GPS also in the same space? Perhaps it would be more useful to include a link to external source like Atlas of Living Australia that will have maps of records? Swawrzyczek (talk) 03:31, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks again for your work on Banksia catoglypta. Your addition about pollination ecology needs a reference. I noticed "giving up fixing the description". Please ping (@Gderrin:) me here ask or on my Talk page if I can help.
Sorry I didn't notice that you had a question (above) about GPS. The answer is YES! GPS coords go in "location" at the bottom of the Commons upload page. Gderrin (talk) 01:02, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
