Hi Susanth, welcome (a bit belatedly) to Wikipedia!
I was just reading the Village Pump and thought I'd mention to you that if you type three tildas, i.e. ~ ~ ~ (without the spaces), your user name is entered and four tildas produces your user name and the time and date, as in Ams80 21:46 Apr 24, 2003 (UTC).
