I read the message you put in the summary, but even though the edit was only live for 2 minutes, watchers of the page might get an email informing them about a change on the page, without actually something happening. Additionally it might be very well possible that someone viewed the page to find something out in these 2 minutes, or a search engine indexed the page during that period.
