Replacement of Image:Win Me.png and Windows Me logo.png edit

I replaced your Windows Me logo images with better ones such as Image:Win Me transparent.png and Image:Windows Me logo transparent.png that have nearly double resolution and perfect transparency. Please give up with making transparency your way, because you could not perform perfect matching of transparent zones with real edges of logos, because your efforts were resulting with white spots and smudges in areas intended to be transparent. I'm not vandal, instead, you are vandal, because I provide higher resolution than you as follows:

  • my 993x282 is bigger than your 425x142
  • my 701x579 is bigger than your 375x333

Because your implementation of transparency was really very primitive, warped, imperfect and crude, I provided perfect equivalents to your logos. Because of this, you shall not revert nor vandalize my true improvements. I setted violet color as transparent in my logos. Your former images were so inferior due to your non justified reverts, that even admins speedily deleted them. Wikinger (talk) 10:32, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Image:Win Me.png and Windows Me logo.png edit

A tag has been placed on Image:Win Me.png and Image:Windows Me logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:Image:Win Me.png|the article's talk page]] and [[Talk:Image:Windows Me logo.png|the article's talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Screenshots edit

I have noticed that you have uploaded a number screenshots, some of Microsoft 1.0, do you this or any other pre-1995 MS computer? I am asking because if you do, it would be invaluable to Wikipedia and computing history if you could take as many different screenshots as possible of these and upload at least a few. I am particularly interested in this sort of thing, regards, 95jb14.
