Re: Message left on My Talk

I'm glad that you wish to become more familiar with the protocol and policies here at Wikipedia. Responding to your query, yes you certainly may ask me on my talk page, or the talk page of practically any other establlished user. Also, check out WP:QUESTIONS. There are a lot of helpful links there to direct you to the correct place to ask a question, based on its nature. I hope you enjoy editing here at Wikipedia. Responding to Comment

edit

Hello. I saw the comment you left on my user-talk page. First of all, let my apologize for not answering sooner; I have been away from Wikipedia for the past three weeks. That said, let me move on to your other comments. You asked how I left you welcome message, even though your account had been created some time ago. In Wikipedia, only users who have edited are welcomed. I was able to welcome you as soon as you edited because automated tools (such as Huggle) track new edits, often only a few seconds after they are made. Via this tool, I was able to see your edit, and that you had not yet been given a welcome. I welcomed you simply by chance, and not because of any ideological reasons. I hope I have answered all of your questions. Intelligentsium 15:29, 15 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
