Deaths

edit

Hey there. Saw your edit summary on Deaths in November 2016

“Why this then? Many names here who don’t have an article. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deaths_in_2017”

You pointed towards the more recent months that deaths occurred in. Redlinks are given 30 days to achieve notability after which if they failed to do so they’d be removed. That’s why there’s redlinks there and none on November 2016. Hope that clears things up. Rusted AutoParts 05:45, 5 November 2017 (UTC) Rusted AutoParts 05:45, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

November 2017

Please don't change the format of dates. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.

For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Chelsea players updated correctly but "November 6, 2017" is not the way to use the dates due to their nationalities. We use the "6 November 2017" format instead. Infobox dates

edit

Hi, when updating infobox stats you should update the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats, by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 22:41, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ruben Loftus-Cheek, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Won't have received a winner's medal with three PL appearances, unless special dispensation was given, of which there is no evidence in article.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Danny Drinkwater, you may be blocked from editing. Player was not involved in the squad for the final. Mattythewhite (talk) 14:23, 20 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Ethan Ampadu. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:19, 21 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Ruben Loftus-Cheek. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please consult sources when updating stats. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:56, 2 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Álvaro Morata

edit

Hi there, from Portugal,

please, no overdetail in a player's career. Not all the goals from Mr. Morata (or all the players in the world) are to be described in his biography, especially when he's a striker (kind of expected to happen).

On a related note, please don't season-by-season headlines in storyline, it creates too much clutter and no other clubs have it, why should Chelsea?

Attentively, happy editing --Quite A Character (talk) 20:00, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

I too reacted a bir harshly in the second message, because I honestly thought you would only revert me and not interact. Thank you for taking the time, take care and ask if you need any wiki-help. --Quite A Character (talk) 13:48, 9 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
