Thank you for your additions to Stretch reflex! Whenever you add or change content in an article, though, you'll want to make sure that you add a citation for every fact added. For example, you added this content but no citation for it:

  • "Supraspinal control of the stretch reflex means the signal travels above the spinal cord before traveling back down to the same segment it entered the spinal cord from. The responses from these pathways are often termed medium or long latency stretch reflexes, because the time course is longer due to distance it needs to travel."

Including the citation where you found this information helps the reader ensure the content is verifiable and trustworthy.

In general, I like to think of it as having a citation for each sentence. If multiple, consecutive sentences come from the same source, then it is fine to cite the source once at the end of the consecutive sentences. Therefore, you shouldn't have any paragraphs that end without a citation.

I see the article already had issues with uncited content, so I know that it isn't all your doing! Once a few more citations are removed, I think we can go ahead and remove the "cleanup" template up at the top that warns readers that there aren't enough citations. Always a good feeling, especially when a template has been on an article for 5+ years! Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 04:03, 6 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
