Re your note edit

I didn't remove that; the only change I actually made to the article was to change his descent to the neutral "Punjabi" and semi-protect the page. If you believe his nationality should be described as "British Indian", the best thing to do would be to propose this on the talk-page (with appropriate reliable sources to back up your proposal). Hope this helps, EyeSerenetalk 07:19, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your notes. However, I'm not the one you need to convince ;) From the sources you've provided, Jay Sean is clearly very proud of his Indian roots, and there certainly seems to be nothing at all to support identifying him as Pakistani. However, I don't know if there's enough to identify him as British Indian either - unless he specifically says this, writing it into the article may be taking his words too far. These are just my thoughts on the matter though - as an administrator I can't get involved in judging content or take sides in a dispute, so you need to take this to the article talk-page and get consensus for your suggestions.   Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:30, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
