A tag has been placed on Virgin Trains West-Coast, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you believe that there is a reason to keep the redirect, you can request that administrators wait a while before deleting it. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Deletion

edit

The page was deleted because it was a complete copy of a current page (Virgin West Coast). Virgin XC has its own page because it is a former franchise, and has specific info about it that is not included on the main page. I think that there was discussion, as well, which ruled against the creation of said page.

PS I did not delete the page. Regards, Btline (talk) 16:40, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, but VXC has only had a page since it ended (i.e. since it has had notable separate info. Before that, it was with the rest of the VWC. When it finished, it was decided to remove all of the "old" info and put it onto a new page. Therefore, a VWC page should not exist until it has ended (and in any case, it would be a page rename - so a page called VWC will never be created).
In future, please also do not delete your old comments from my talk page (don't worry, I've did it a few times in the past), and please sign your posts.
