Storyfixer, WTF is your problem? You clearly have some kind of hatred towards that company. Did you get termed for this kind of BS at your job there too? Cut the slander and actually back up your content with credible sites. Private hate blogs aren't considered credible as they only possess opinions. Wikipedia is not the place for YOUR personal opinions either. Either work on your netiquette or learn to be neutral.

I have never worked for your company. The 'problem' most people and I have is that small businesses and consumers are getting fed up with the predatory practices of most large corporations. InfoGroup's use of Wikipedia as a free marketing tool is just one more example. The references you give are not any more credible than mine. They are merely gossip pages written by and for the information industry. I can see you are very upset that I have presented the other point of view which happens to be held by the vast majority of the population. I really do not have any more time for this, so my future edits will consist of only some rewording and unwording here and there to fix your uncompliance with Wikipedia's prohibition of its use as a marketing tool. I see that you have removed some of the promotional stuff, and I really appreciate it. Thank you (and I mean it). Hopefully, this can work out to be a good compromise for us. I think we will probably come up with a page we can both live with.

You don't need to get upset about the removal of biased content. I am a user advocate and spammy email chaffs me, too. I did my best to reformat the content so it would be more permanant, however it reads like something that would be better handled privately.
If you or a friend are the subject of the unfortunate event, there are other avenues to get solutions. Perhaps asking the company to provide a new email address that will never make any spam list, and provide free expensive spam protection for the lifetime of your account with them. Move to another host company: Xmission comes to mind - [[1]] . Sue them for money. And whatever you do, read the terms of the privacy policies carefully.
