This is a really interesting topic that I think you did a great job of breaking down. All of your links worked and helped define some terms, but I think it would improve the flow of the writing to define some of these concepts/expand on them within your writing. The sentence about apomixis is a little jarring. I don't think it needs a full definition, but just some context or further explanation of its relevance. There's also an opportunity to discuss island-colonizing lizards, which seem kind of self-explanatory, but I think that adding more information about them would round off that section.
