Learning Wikipedia the Hard Way applied
editI was watching an interesting series Heat of the Sun (on Amazon) via the Amazon Prime Instant Video (APIV) site [1].
I was intrigued and often look to Wikipedia for more information about Heat of the Sun [2] and noticed only three episodes were described when five are shown on APIV.
Then a boldly said to myself, "Why can't I fix this!", and so I did.
I started out simple, and progressively amended info for Ep. 4 and Ep. 5. Then I updated the meta-information (episode count, date) Then I updated Cast with links to the Wikipedia page, etc. Then I started reviewing and reading with a different type of eye / vision, to be technically correct everywhere, with the goal for all the info on the page to be consistent and correct across the whole page when I finally left it.
I discovered a source of conflict in information when I searched Google and found the PBS Mystery! page for Heat of the Sun [3], which I am still researching to resolve, so I figured out how to reference the difference of information with links the sources I found.
The same source is treated as a separate reference, and I would like to learn how to improve this, subtle but important feature.
My apologies for the many saves, but I did Jump Right In and I was Bold.
