Notability of Stephen Willats

A tag has been placed on Stephen Willats requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Stephen Willats

Hi there, and thanks for your message. At the time the article was tagged it was displayed no assertion of notability - so the article didn't seem to satisfy the criteria here. I didn't delete the article myself, an admin would have done that. What might be an idea in the future is to create the page and work on it in your sandbox, then, when it's a fully formed article, move it over to the main article location. That might avoid this happening again in the future. I'm sorry if you think that the article was worthy of being kept - if you don't have a copy of it then you can ask an admin to move a copy of it to your sandbox for you to work on, if that helps.
