edit

Hello, I'm Alex Cohn. I noticed that in this edit to HCG pregnancy strip test, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Alex Cohn (let's chat!) 18:04, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Alex Cohn, they left an edit summary explaining that they were redirecting the article and a message on the talk page as well. Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:18, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Alex Cohn, yes, I left an edit summary and had posted on the talk page quite a bit ago about redirecting the page. The page had no citations, and was unnecessarily separate from "pregnancy test"- there are no human pregnancy tests that do not depend on HCG, so having multiple pages is confusing for readers. If you feel there is a reason that should be a distinct page, I'm interested- but the page content is also poor and thus should be improved if you feel it should continue. Thanks. I have restored the redirect given that it clearly was not an unexplained removal of content. Perhaps the result of a Huggle misfire/mistake. Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:33, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Elysia (Wiki Ed), Squirreltime sorry about that! Yes, mistake on my part - the redirection without removing the rest of the article content looked odd to me. I see the talk page discussion now. Alex Cohn (let's chat!) 19:06, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
