Disambiguation link notification for April 11 edit

Hi. When you recently edited French franc, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Solidus (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Akan Drum edit

Hi, thanks for stuff about Akan Drum. Do you have a link? Victuallers (talk) 23:32, 8 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is excellent news. Can you find a link to just one African-american object from the museums you specify. I think its an interesting link as its usually British, Africans or or Portuguese (to my mind) who were involved in the slave trade. I think the BM would be interested in an older object that was African American. Thanks for the information Victuallers (talk) 16:28, 10 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your're welcome Victuallers. French Slavery Trade was very important between 1660 and 1789. Slavery was abolished un 1848 (first in 1790, then restestablished by Napoléon). According to the archives, the Akan Drum is an african artefact, not an American-African : it has been carved in West Africa. Or not ? -- Spiessens 20:44, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
